What is Disciples: Domination?
Disciples: Domination is a tactical role-playing game set in a Dark Fantasy universe. Take on the role of Avyanna, queen of Nevendaar, in her quest to stem the physical and moral corruption of the world.

What are the main features of Disciples: Domination?
Dark & mature story: In Disciples: Domination you continue Avyanna’s journey in a grim tale of power, war and sacrifice. Every decision carves her path – shaping her fate and the future of Nevendaar.
Rule supreme: From your capital, Yllian, you rule your realm and army. Consult your companions for guidance as your choices shape your faction reputation, impacting how others react to your rule, and the whole world around you.
Refined turn-based combat: Lead your army in tactical, grid-based battles with faster pacing, dynamic events and richer interaction. New skills, faction abilities and unit synergies deepen your strategical options along with the unique system of strengths and weaknesses.
Choose your companions: Unlock and choose trusted companions to reflect your playstyle – leveraging their combat prowess and unique world skills to aid your quest to save Nevendaar.
Hold your world together: Recruit and upgrade units from five distinct factions. Build powerful squads by combining unique skills and abilities and train them to defeat your enemies in turn-based encounters.
Real-time world exploration: Travel the dark, living world of Nevendaar in real time. Uncover new regions, meet compelling characters, face terrifying foes, and dive into rewarding quests as the story unfolds.
The Mountain Clans return: The dwarves are back – and they might not be your allies. Will they stand with you or spark a new fire you’ll be forced to extinguish.

How does the game tie into Liberation?
Fifteen years after Avyanna freed Nevendaar from the tyrannical grip of the gods, Disciples: Domination returns you to a realm hanging in the balance. The fire of doubt burns scorching within Avyanna, sparked by the crushing weight of the throne in Yllian, and stoked by twisted dreams of becoming one of the very monsters she once defied – and destroyed. Paralyzed by fear and haunted by her own power, Avyanna’s rule begins to crack. Allies disappear and abandon her, as an unknown force spreads strife and madness through her realm.

After Avyanna became the ruler of Nevandaar in Disciples: Liberation, she now must take care of her realm. As you receive various representatives of the world’s factions and inhabitants, you will have to make choices to resolve their grievances! You will be able to handle those grievances via “The Throne”. The game will include three types of grievances:
Crisis grievances: Receive requests from various factions and decide whether to help or not. Your choices affect your relationship with that faction, and you may also earn rewards depending on what you choose.
Exploration grievances: As you explore the world and uncover new areas or interact with specific elements in the region, you can sometimes unlock grievances. Your choices impact the rewards (e.g. faction relations, new gear, new side quests, etc.).
Main quest grievances: Your decisions shape the narrative and determine the path you take in the main story.
These choices will have a lasting impact on various aspects of your ongoing playthrough.
How many starting classes will there be?
In Disciples: Domination, you will be able to choose between four different starting classes for Avyanna: the Warmaster, the Primordial Ruler, the Holy Regent and the Witch Queen. This decision can be changed later using the Skilltree Menu.
Which factions will be included in Disciples: Domination?
The following factions will be represented in Disciples: Domination:
the Legion of the Damned, the Undead Hordes, the Elven Alliance, the Empire, and the Mountain Clans (Yes, the Dwarves are back!).

Will there be an upgrade system for units?
You will be able to level up and upgrade a unit via its corresponding faction building. Upgrading a unit will transform it into a higher tier unit from the same upgrade path and will cost resources.
How do the unit synergies work?
In Disciples: Domination you will be able to combine a sequence of anticipated actions to gain an advantage during combat! Examples include pushing/pulling enemies into negative effects and paralysing them, or shifting allies off tiles that might kill or wound them.
How does the strength and weaknesses system work in Disciples: Domination?
Each unit has specific resistances, which can be viewed in the unit profile or in the tooltip when hovering over the unit. Additionally, each ability has a damage type. A unit can have up to two abilities, each of which may use a different damage type. In the starting formation screen, you can hover over a unit icon to see which opponents are weak against it. A small icon will appear on the opponents that are vulnerable to the selected unit.
There are 4 types of damages and resistances:
Physical: edged weapons, claws and blunt weapons.
Primal: ice, fire and earth.
Divine: light and nature.
Unholy: lightning, poison and acid.
Additionally, you will receive feedback via indicators (“Weakness”, “Resist”, “Immune”) when attacking a unit.
How does the new push & pull feature work?
To add an additional layer of strategy to the combat, Disciples: Domination introduces the new push & pull feature. Certain unit’s abilities will be able to displace units and move then towards a free tile, a dangerous tile like a fire tile or another enemy to trigger a damage chain reaction. You can either push or pull units, with the direction the attacked unit will be moving in depending on the starting position of the unit using the action. A visual indicator will tell you where the attacked unit will be moved to.
The following combinations are possible:
If the unit is either pushed onto or pushed over a tile with an effect (positive or negative), it will be affected by the according effect.
If the unit is pushed into an obstacle (this includes other units, ally or enemy), it will be placed on the tile in front of the obstacle and suffer damage. If the obstacle is another unit, it will also take damage. A shifted unit cannot pass through any obstacle on a tile.
Skills can also have an Area of Effect and target multiple units.
What are combat events?
Events can occur during combat to break up the routine! Dynamic events such as corrupted mana eruptions, rockfalls, icy winds, or earthquakes may trigger - some with warnings, others without.
